View from my Paris bedroom window

Oi amigas,
This is the view that I glance at whilst I write this post. Can you imagine? I never thought I’d have a view of the Eiffel Tower in my bedroom. Its amazing during the day and spectacular in the evening.
I feel truly lucky to have such a beautiful view.
We are on a full week in Paris and it feels as if we’ve been here for at least a month. We’ve gotten so many things done around our new home as well as taken care of some really important details.
You know, we are really lucky to have some help. Our landlord’s parents live on the top floor of the apartment building and have helped us tremendously. I thought we would be alone, but it feels like we have people that wish the best for us. It’s great!
So far, we’ve managed to get in a couple of runs around our arrondissements, a mile or two for now, until I get my running legs back again. I am truly an athletic person and miss my work out time and running time so much that I really forgot my jet lag state. It actually helps to work out or get in a run when fighting jet lag. I have to say it’s a bit of a struggle to get the running shoes on, but once committed it feels fabulous.
I managed to make a list on my Iphone of the items that I think we need for our next Ikea run. This time, I think we will take the Metro to the RER (sub-way to the train) to get to Ikea. It will make for an interesting Vlog.
There are several Vlogs on my Iphone that I thought would be really interesting and fun to share, but I can’t seem to get it quite right. The audio feed is horrible, I can’t even hear myself talk and the video it self is quite poor quality and thin.
I know one could Vlog on iPhones as I have watched Vlog videos on YouTube that look alright. So, I think I am going to Google it a bit (can you imagine Google is a verb?) and see what I’ve come up with.
I think Paris looks especially beautiful cast under a gray sky. There is a large gray cloud hovering over the Eiffel Tower, for me, I like it this way.
Mon Mari (my husband) is beginning to appreciate Paris a bit more. He is a bit of a pessimist as I am often the opptimisst in our little family.
We’ve lived in cities for about eight years and Paris is another big-little city that speaks to us in different ways.
Well, amigos, I shall see you again real soon. If you have not had a chance to visit my beauty channel have a look at my latest video I live in Paris, France . You could also follow me on Twitter @odeliza and my Instagram is liveloveartparis
