Oi!

I like the fact that we live right next to the beach. Granted, the beach is not for swimming, just for sun bathing and our dog Midori’s play tub, but its really nice.

We try to take advantage of the nice weather when its available in Uruguay. From May through November its bitter cold and yuck!

But when the weather is just awesome we go out no matter what! Even if it is just to hang out at our beach which we happily dubbed Midori Beach.

Ciao,

Oi!

As I sit here in the warmth of my beach house, I think about my return trip to Argentina, its just a 50 minute plane ride away. And the rewards I’d receive from traveling to Argentina are bountiful: Indian food and all kinds of cuisine, visit my friend, Lau, sight see, eat some more, and hang out with my friend.

The Food in Soho Palermo, Buenos Aires, Argentina

Oi,

I was surrounded with cuisines from around the globe, while staying in Buenos Aires, Argentina. From Japan to China, to Mexico, India, Thailand, Italy, Argentina, and more I haven’t experienced yet. I just want to take a 45 minute plane to Buenos Aires just to eat the food and experience the culture. Its fast, busy, and so cosmopolitan.

Now, don’t get me wrong I don’t mind the slow pace life, but I am also a city person and I need that city vibe that even living in the Capital of Uruguay -Montevideo- is just not city enough for me. For some, yes, there are plenty of Expats I know who adore this country. There is even a couple whom lived in New York for ah, 20 years and now live on a ranch in Uruguay. So, its okay for some.

I love love love Indian food especially South Indian food.
